Event security software

GuardOps handles the short, staff-heavy shifts that event security runs on: guards are assigned to posts, clock in at the venue geofence, and file incident reports from the floor, with the whole event exportable as one record afterwards.

What makes events different

An event compresses a month of guarding into a day. Headcount spikes, many of the staff are working that venue for the first time, shifts are short, and everything that matters happens in a few hours. Reconstructing afterwards who was on which post, and what happened, is the hard part.

Running an event on GuardOps

  • Create the venue as a site and schedule every post for the day
  • Guards clock in at the venue geofence with a selfie, so the roster reflects who actually arrived
  • The live map shows which posts are covered and which are not, during the event
  • Incident reports are filed from the floor with photos, not written up the next day
  • One export covers the whole event for the client or the venue

Questions about event security

Can I schedule a large number of short shifts for a single day?

Yes. Shifts are created per guard and per site with start and end times, and can be bulk imported by CSV for large events.

Are casual or one-off staff billed the same as permanent guards?

Billing is based on active guards on your account. Only guards count toward the price; owners, managers, and supervisors are free. Review your guard roster after a large event so your seat count reflects who is still active.

How much does GuardOps cost?

GuardOps is one plan billed per guard: $49/month includes 5 guards, then $9/month for each additional guard. Sites are unlimited and never billed, and only guards count toward the price. There is a 30-day free trial and no credit card is required to start.
